To the women who have experienced domestic violence,
You are warriors. You have shown incredible strength and resilience in overcoming the traumatic experiences you have faced. You are not defined by the abuse that you have suffered, but by the courage and determination you have shown in moving forward.
I dedicate this to you, for your unwavering bravery and for showing the world that you are more than a victim. You are survivors, and you deserve love, respect, and safety.
May this be a reminder that you are never alone, and that there is always hope. You are worthy of a life free from abuse, and you deserve to be treated with kindness and empathy.
I stand with you, and I applaud your courage and strength. You are an inspiration to many, and I hope that your stories of survival and triumph will continue to empower others who have experienced domestic violence.
With love and admiration,

Domestic violence survivors are individuals who have experienced physical, emotional, or psychological abuse at the hands of a current or former intimate partner. This can include physical assault, threats, intimidation, controlling behavior, isolation, and financial abuse.
Domestic violence can affect anyone regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age, or socio-economic status. Survivors may experience long-term physical and mental health problems, as well as difficulty in maintaining employment, financial stability, and relationships.
It is important for survivors to seek help and support from trained professionals, such as domestic violence advocates, therapists, and support groups, in order to heal and recover from the trauma they have experienced.

Paralyzing Fear
In Memory of Those Lost to Domestic Violence
We'd like to remember, and honor loved ones we have lost to domestic violence. While their lives were tragically cut short, their memories will forever live on in our hearts.
It is painful to think about the instances of violence that they have endured, and the fear and pain they must have felt. It is a hard reminder that society needs to do more to prevent such horrific acts from happening.
I want to take a moment to acknowledge their strength and courage, for those who stayed in abusive relationships for their children or for financial reasons, or for those who left and tried to rebuild their lives.
As we remember them, let us commit ourselves to spreading awareness about domestic violence and to supporting those who are in need of help. Let us strive to create a world where no one has to fear for their safety in their own homes.
To our loved ones who have passed on, we will always carry your memory with us.
