Volunteer
Be the Heart Behind the Healing
At CHICK Therapy, volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission. Whether supporting youth mentorship programs, helping organize self-care workshops, or offering a compassionate presence at events, our volunteers make it possible to empower women and girls to heal, grow, and thrive. When you give your time and talent to CHICK Therapy, you don't just fill a need, you help change a life.

Why Volunteers Are Needed and How Impactful They Are
Healing does not happen in isolation. Many of the women and girls who walk through the doors of CHICK Therapy arrive carrying silent struggles such as trauma, grief, anxiety, low self esteem, or the feeling that they have to face life alone. Often, one of the first things they encounter is a welcoming volunteer: someone offering a smile, a conversation, guidance during an activity, or simply a safe presence. Those small moments can make a lasting difference.
Volunteers are an essential part of the CHICK Therapy community. They help create the warm, supportive environment that allows participants to feel seen, heard, and comfortable enough to begin healing. From mentoring young girls and supporting workshops to helping organize events and outreach efforts, volunteers make it possible for us to serve the community in meaningful and consistent ways.
Our volunteers are involved in hands on community work that directly impacts families and individuals in need. Together, we help feed the unhoused, pass out toiletries and hygiene kits, volunteer at local shelters, organize toy drives during the holidays, and collect school clothes and supplies for children and teens. Volunteers also assist with mentorship programs, wellness events, community gatherings, and activities designed to encourage healing, confidence, and connection among women and girls.
We need volunteers because real healing takes community. Every person brings something valuable, whether it is compassion, patience, creativity, leadership, or simply the willingness to show up and help. The time and care volunteers give help build confidence, encourage connection, and remind participants that they are not alone in their journey.
The impact of volunteering extends far beyond a single event or program. A conversation can restore hope. Encouragement can help someone believe in themselves again. A donated backpack can help a child walk into school feeling prepared and confident. A warm meal or hygiene kit can remind someone that they matter. Volunteers help create those moments every day.
When you volunteer with CHICK Therapy, you become part of something bigger than yourself. You become part of a mission rooted in healing, empowerment, and genuine human connection. In supporting others, many volunteers also discover growth, purpose, and healing within themselves.
Join us. Be part of the healing, the hope, and the change.
